Rework – Repurpose – Revamp – Redo
There is a right way and a wrong way to sell
PLR content.
The wrong way is taking a lump of raw PLR goodness, and selling it exactly as it is. The right way is to first change it into something else – something that is at least slightly different from the original.
This is especially important for PLR videos.
The problem with reusing identical PLR articles isn’t so much that people are going to notice as it is negative search engine rankings. But when it comes to videos, people are a lot quicker to noticing duplicate content.
If you’re looking for a way to remarket PLR videos, without the nitty-gritty of editing and splicing, the secret is in the marketing. Your approach should exploit a simple aspect to human behavior: when people expect something different, they get something different.
The key here is “rebottling” your PLR content.
Let’s say you have two PLR video courses – ‘Making Money on eBay’, and ‘Blogging for Profits’. Maybe you also have a few ‘Killer Keywords‘ samples hanging around.
Instead of reselling each one individually, create a whole new “series” called ‘Marketing with Blogs’. In this course, you will “explain” how to use a blog specifically to sell products. Only, you will be selecting content from each of your original courses to use where appropriate – blogging videos for the blogging aspect, keywords for attracting visitors, and eBay for the marketing part.
This isn’t the only way of rebottling PLR videos, but it is an example of how you can take parts of one whole and create a completely new whole.
Another thing to remember is that you don’t have to resell PLR as PLR (unless the license doesn’t allow for it).
There are a lot of people out there who actually want to know how they can ‘Market with Blogs’. So, advertise the series as a way to learn how to do exactly that. This way, you will attract a different crowd.
A different crowd from typical PLR buyers is a great way to stand out from competition.
One problem with reselling PLR content is that a lot of other people are reselling the same thing. For potential buyers, this is a problem, as they will buy from the cheapest and highest rated. If you aren’t selling to people looking for PLR content, then you have just given yourself a big advantage, and you may very well become the cheapest and highest rated.
As long as you are the only one (or one of precious few) with a ‘Marketing with Blogs’ course, then you are going to be an exclusive option for customers who want one!
The power of PLR is content.
Content has very few limits. Don’t ever think that there is only one way of doing things.
Think Outside Of The Box!
With some imagination, you can end up selling a completely different product than the one you originally bought.
